The Almshouses, Sutton Cheney
Separated from the churchyard by a low brick wall, this picturesque row of sixteenth-century almshouses forms part of the building complex of The Almshouses, a restaurant and bed-and-breakfast in Sutton Cheney. The Richard III Society traditionally gathers at the Almshouses on the annual memorial service and wreath-laying ceremony at Sutton Cheney Church. This Society custom dates back to the days before the creation of the Battlefield Centre.
