The Battlefield Line:
Shackerstone Station
The northwestern terminus of this engaging tourist railroad. Shackerstone Station is open Saturday afternoons, and all day Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays all year round. The building dates to 1873 and has been restored with volunteer efforts. Volunteers are usually on hand to provide the visitor with additional information on the railway and its place in local history.

A portion of the Station is devoted to a railway museum, with special emphasis on local railway operations. A Buffet offers a variety of hot and cold drinks, snacks, and meals.
