The Battlefield Line:
Shackerstone Station

The station fund stall, shown here, is housed in an old goods waggon (freight car to U.S. residents) and, in the summer, sometimes includes a sale of bedding plants. Proceeds benefit the continued renovation of the Shackerstone Station.

Visitors can ride a Sunday dining train (The Tudor Rose - telephone 0116 291 7460). Rail coaches and stations are available for hire for private parties.

The Line also offers a range of "footplate courses" for those who have dreamed of driving a railway locomotive. Telephone 0121 707 6010 for details
