| The Church
of St James Sutton Cheney Sutton Cheney Church is the focus of the Richard III Society's commemorative activities in August. According to local tradition, Richard III heard his last Mass at this church. Until the village enclosure in 1794, the church stood on the main village street, which passed the North wall of the church before swinging away to Ambion Hill. Now, it offers the impression of a building almost completely untouched by time. |
