The Church
of St James
Sutton Cheney
Sutton Cheney Church is the focus
of the Richard III Society's commemorative activities in August. The nave
was built in the thirteenth century and the chancel, probably, in the
fourteenth. The brick extension to the tower is a late eighteenth century
addition. It originally contained four bells, of which three are still
in position but because of their condition cannot be rung as a peal. |
