Shackerstone Signal Box
The Midland Railway Signal Box heralds the entrance into the yard at Shackerstone Station, the northern end of this volunteer tourist railway, which celebrated its 125th anniversary in 1998.

Stored in the Shackerstone Yards is a variety of vintage steam locomotives, passenger and freight cars. The Richard III steam locomotive, sadly, is out of service, and will require an expensive overhaul to go back on the rails.
