Views of the Battlefield Trails

These views follow the approximate path of photographer Roy Blanchard on a July 15, 1998 visit to the Battlefield. Many of the photographs of the Ashby Canal and the Ashby & Nuneaton Joint Railway (Battlefield Line) were taken between the Ambion Hill and King Richard's Field visits. However, to keep a possibly artifical distinction between site and surroundings, these photos are shown in an additional section.

Submissions from other photographers would be warmly welcomed; if interest permits, a second image index of photos from others will be started. Of special interest would be views of the Vistor's Centre itself, of the alternate battlefield site, and of surrounding villages and their churches. Use the e-mail address at the bottom of the page.
