Call for Papers:

SECOND
FIFTEENTH-CENTURY STUDIES
CONFERENCE

May 3-6, 1998
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

The American Branch of the Richard III Society is planning its second conference on fifteenth-century England to be held on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign May 3-6, 1998. This conference will be scheduled to coordinate with the International Medieval Congress in Kalamazoo, Michigan (May 7-10, 1998) for the convenience of those who plan to attend both conferences.

The conference is being co-sponsored by the Department of History, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Department of History, Ohio University. The conference is planned as a working conference with consecutive rather than concurrent sessions in order to facilitate discussion among the participants. Each session will consist of two papers and a response. Joel Rosenthal of the State University of New York at Stony Brook will give the keynote address. The papers will be published in a proceedings volume.
