Richard III Society Member to Have Booth
at Florida Renaissance Faire

The Second Annual Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire, located in Central Florida, is held northwest of Orlando, February 14th-16th, 2003. Explains American Branch member Virginia Poch, who has organized an exhibition booth: "We prepare to introduce the Society and a more authentic Richard to the public weaned on Shakespeare and Hollywood, and, have some fun doing it. "

Poch continues: "If any gentle folk from the area or those, who, longing for a break from 'the winter of their discontent' and mayhap be visiting the area in mid February, we pray you may perchance drop by. Celebrate Valentine's Day in the Medieval manner. Come in costume if you have one. Or, come as you wish. Enjoy a mug of mead (or root beer, or soda), munch a plate of viands, be entertained with stage performances and roving troubadours, watch two noble knights meet in mortal combat, share your knowledge or Richard and his times with fairgoers. Convert a heathen Tudorite.
