Sharon Kay Penman The
historical novels of Sharon Kay Penman have won widespread critical acclaim
since the publication of her first novel, The Sunne in Splendour,
in 1982. This novel has won a special place in the hearts of Ricardians
because of its sympathetic treatment of its hero, Richard III.
The American Branch is pleased to serve as the host to this suite of pages providing information on Penman's six historical and mystery novels. We acknowledge the generosity of the author in making available to us this rich range of resource material, including images, for this section. Thanks are also due to Ms. Penman for her generous donation of a complete set of her history novels as a raffle item to benefit the Society's scholarship fund at its 1996 annual general meeting. NEW!
